She expresses an ongoing reverence and gratitude for her many teachings that are outside of her ancestral lineages.

Angelique is entering into Acupuncture practice following a lengthy career as a Registered Midwife. She gained her training at Otago Polytechnic in Aotearoa New Zealand, a land which is ever precious to the tone of her soul. She provided care for families during the childbearing continuum throughout British Columbia and internationally.

Registered Acupuncture Treatments

Angelique creates a space for those who are moving towards a deeper reality of wellness within themselves. She holds a non judgmental, inclusive space, as we continue, to lead each other back Home to wholeness. Angelique offers a variety of treatment options for those seeking a holistic practice. Angelique has expanded her practice to include the ancient art of TCM Facial analysis/Diagnosis and provides treatments incorporating cosmetic acupuncture to those who are seeking boosted facial collagen, increased circulation, reduction of fine lines, augmented natural radiance and decreased facial tension.

Angelique continues to maintain a deep reverence for the complexity of the womb space – before, during and after the child bearing continuum. She holds additional acupuncture training specific to this child bearing year.  It’s important to remember that Acupuncture in pregnancy is safe and can be of great benefit for many of the challenges met in pregnancy.  Acupuncture can offer stability with nausea, it can enhance energy levels, prepare the mothers body and the baby’s position for labour, and be deeply beneficial for postpartum recovery. Acupuncture can help with mastitis and helps to establish lactation. Acupuncture can assist with  re-building blood levels and general mood stabilizing in those times of profound transition.

Angelique is considering offering home visits for acute circumstances where getting to the clinic in the early postpartum feels impossible. Please contact reception to organize a phone consultation with her to see if this could be of benefit to you and your family.

Angelique is passionate and knowledgeable about healthy and conscious menstruation, using her knowledge to provide pain relief and balance. She holds an interest in the menopausal journey being reclaimed as a new beginning rather than a punctuated end. Angelique continues to expand her education and integrate the teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine into her practice providing harmony, balance and safe and inclusive space to all.
